Mtruk or Amazon Mechanical Turk is the best site to work online from home. I have been working from home on this website since last three years. I have earned around $3,500 by doing simple tasks like surveys, testing, etc. However, it might not be a very big amount, but it is worth because on average, I work only two hours a day. 

If you work on this site, then you might have noticed that there are many requester whose hits are always in demand. Whenever their hits come online, many workers start working on those hits. You get a very little time to accept those hits. There are few tools to get notification about hits, which are your favorite. You can decide like if you want to get notification for a specific requester or hits, which contains some specific words.

Tools to get automated notification for new mturk hits

1. Open Turk:

I use this tool and found it very useful. It is a chrome based extension. This tool has option like how you want to get notification. Below is an example of same:

You can also set notification for your favorite requester or based on some specific words like survey, quick, fun, etc.

Best thing about this tool is that you can set your daily target. When you complete a hit then some percentage of bar get filled up. It is good for motivation. 

2. Turkopticon:

This tool is mainly for checking requester credibility before accepting a hit. This tool when added into chrome as an extension, sets review points for each requester. These reviews are added by real workers who work on mturk.

By adding this tool, you can make sure to avoid hits which seem fake or by requester who are not fair to their workers.

3. Turk Alert:

This is a website where you set notifications based on your interest or for specific requester. You can get these notifications through Email.

There are many other tools which are also very helpful however, tools which I have mentioned above are best one and should be enough for monitoring hits on Mturk.
